Once in Kamloops, Mike Wiegele will organize a courtesy shuttle to multiple Kamloops hotels, including the DoubleTree by Hilton, if you’ve booked a 7-day package. Otherwise, transportation is on you for the 2.5-hour drive North. Optionally, you can charter a private plane to land in Blue River, as Mike Wiegele provides a small landing strip.
Staying at Eleanor Lake Estate comes with the finest amenities that Mike Wiegele’s company offers. Being located on the Blue River Resort premise, you’ll have access to the same standard amenities as other guests. These include the communal dining room and lounge, fitness center, and game room.
At this estate you’ll be provided with several entirely private amenities that only you and your group can take advantage of. This 9,000 square foot, 4 double-occupancy room house comes with all the comforts of home, plus some extras. These include:
- Dining by a private chef

- Private spa
- Library and fireplace
Eleanor Lake Estate provides access to a bounty of terrain for both strong intermediate skiers and expert veterans alike. With 1.5 million acres spread across 1,000 peaks and three mountain ranges (Cariboos, Monashees, and the Northern Rockies), you’ll have the freedom to fly to the best snow every single morning.
Open bowls are a specialty in the Cariboos and the Monashees are world renowned for their glades. For extreme alpine skiing, you’ll want to stick to the Rockies.
