Heli Guides La Thuile
The Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps is home to the greatest concentration of heli ski operations in Europe. With heli skiing banned in France and Germany, and limited operations in Switzerland, Italy reigns as the place to go for heli ski adventures that take off near multiple ski resorts in the Italian Alps, and Heli Guides La Thuile is certainly included in that kingdom.
Located in the northwestern corner of the Aosta Valley, near Courmayer, another heli ski destination, La Thuile is more remote and therefore less crowded. It is close to the border with France and shares its ski resort with the family friendly La Rosiere Ski Resort in France.
Surrounded by multiple peaks including Mont Miravidi and the Rutor Glacier, you can choose to ski down to Italy or to France, and then head back via La Rosiere.
