Unlike the expansive hotel and chalet accommodations offered by so many operators, Yukon Heli keeps it simple. They have taken a unique and rustic approach to their lodging, offering private tiny home accommodations that are outfitted with comfortable, minimalist amenities.

Each year, at the beginning of the season, Yukon Heliski constructs a temporary village, complete with a trailer-mounted saloon and sauna. These mobile units are towed in and winched into position. This impressive effort creates an experience that’s unlike other operators. While staying in this homey village, you’ll have a range of amenities available, including:

• “Tiny-home” style cabins featuring a wood fireplace, small kitchenette, comfortable bedding, and a fully functional shower place.
• Communal saloon featuring a full kitchen, dining area, and hang-out spot where all meals are shared with other guests.
• Wood-fired sauna on wheels for post-ski session relaxation and recovery.

Yukon Heli uniquely borders both British Columbia and Alaska, providing skiers with the best of both worlds when it comes to terrain. You’ll experience the classic Alaskan high-alpine spines, while also enjoying the long, meandering powder-soaked bowls that hallmark interior B.C. The consistently low temperatures keep fresh powder cold and light for days on end, meaning you’ll never have to worry about crustiness and ice.

This diversity in terrain allows Yukon Heli to cater its operations to both intermediate and expert-level skiers, whether they have backcountry experience or not.
