Bella Coola Sand Creek Ranch

The Sand Creek Ranch is a working ranch and is quite quaint. Although a near 60-year-old farmhouse, it has since been restored to provide exceptional warmth and character. High-speed internet is provided by Starlink, and there is a private kitchen with a full-service bar. Your group will receive the services of a private chef who brings you fresh, local cuisine with every meal. In addition, you’ll have a beautiful stone fireplace and a cedar barrel hot tub to relax with.

Lodging arrangements are as follows:

• 1 queen bed / en suite bathroom single occupancy room
• 2 queen bed / shared bathroom single occupancy rooms
• 1 double occupancy room with an en suite bathroom and two queen beds

The Sand Creek Ranch is the nearest you can get to the tallest peaks in the Coast Mountain Range. If you’re looking for exceptionally long vertical descents, this is the place to be. Mt Waddington, at 13,186 feet, is just a 10-minute helicopter ride from the lodge.

Although Bella Coola Heli Sports has over 3.5 million acres of terrain, much of it can be accessed right outside the Sand Creek Ranch. This minimizes flight time and allows you to squeeze in as many runs as possible on the quick Koala AW119 helicopter. 

As the ranch is privately reserved by a group, you don’t need to worry about keeping up with the pace of strangers. Your certified guides will help everyone in the group achieve their peak potential, whether you’re a first-time backcountry skier or a veteran tourer.

Like the other ranches, Bella Coola Sand Creek Ranch is for exclusive groups only. With 4, 5, and 7-day package options, you can select exactly how long you want to ski. Offering the most customization potential out of any package, you’ll be able to cater your skiing adventures to the needs of the group, rather than a bunch of randoms. 

A specified amount of Hobbs hours is included, dependent on package size and time of the season. Cat skiing is not provided during down days, so you’ll be forced to relax at the lodge and utilize your flight time on another day.
