Bella Coola Pantheon Heli Ranch: Facts & FAQ
The Bella Coola Pantheon Heli Ranch is situated on the Eastern side of their tenure, meaning you won’t be accessing Bella Coola directly. Instead, you’ll fly to Anahim Lake Airport after arriving in Vancouver. This is just a short 70-minute flight, and once landed, Bella Coola Heli Sports will provide ground transportation to get your group to the lodge.
The Pantheon Heli Ranch is one of the more high-end accommodations provided by Bella Coola Heli Sports. Not deviating from the rugged, wilderness style, the ranch has a beautiful wooden lodge that provides cozy hominess with the warm stone-hearth fireplace that’s located in the common lounge. Featuring an open-concept kitchen and bar, this lodge is perfect for groups of individuals who all know each other. Communal dining and shared memories are commonplace.
In addition, guests will be able to enjoy a riverside outdoor hot tub, a Finnish sauna, a game room featuring pool and darts, and a stretching room.

- Legacy Cabin: 2 single occupancy rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom
- River Cabin: 2 single occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom
- Main Lodge: 2 single occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom
- Pantheon Retreat Cabin: 3 single occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom
Calling the terrain surrounding the ranch “big” is an understatement. British Columbia’s highest peak, Mount Waddington, is right outside your door, along with many other striking peaks that your guides will bring you to.
Located in the Cariboo Chilcotin Mountain region, this terrain is glacier dominant and was undiscovered by modern settlers up until 1925. For this reason, it still offers many surprises and lines that have never been skied. Unlike other tenure locations, this region is completely inaccessible, unless flying in by helicopter.
As this location requires a group reservation, novice backcountry skiers are welcome. Just make sure your group won’t mind! To get the most out of the experience, advanced expertise is recommended.
When you book a package at Pantheon Heli Ranch, sharing a helicopter with strangers will never happen. Bella Coola Heli Sports requires an exclusive lodge buyout for this location, so you’ll need to rally a whole group with some of your closest friends. Up to 9 guests can be accommodated here, and your trips into the backcountry will be serviced by a Bell 212 helicopter. Options include:
- 4-Day Heli Skiing
- 5-Day Heli Skiing
- 7-Day Heli Skiing
Depending on which timeline you select, your group will receive a designated amount of Hobbs hours to use. Cat skiing is not available on down days. However, massages at this location do not cost extra – a rarity with most heli skiing lodges.
