Himalaya Heliski
Himalaya Heliski is based near Manali, 500 kilometers north of New Dehli, in Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. Just below Kashmir with Tibet to the east, Himalaya Heliski has been guiding skiers in the Northern Himalayas since 1990, making it the oldest heli ski operator in India.
The Kullu Valley is home to Manali and its surrounding villages and is rich in the culture of the local Pahari people who have called these high altitude valleys home for thousands of years. One unique part of Himalaya Heliski is their Himalaya Exploration package which is geared toward non-skiers while their partner heli skis. With a cultural interpreter at your disposal, you can visit sacred sites and local temples in the village which embraces a slower pace to life, even though access to the outside world is at its fingertips. With cuisine influenced from Europe, India and Southeast Asia and luxury accommodations available, your heliski experience in the Himalayas will be much more than just vertical meters.
Himalaya Heliski prides itself on its private bookings. Imagine your own helicopter and your own guide to take you and 3 of your friends anywhere you want to ski in the Himalaya Mountain Range!
And of course the most magical aspect of a Himalayan heli ski experience is the famed "curry" powder - snow that is dry and light and airy due to the high altitude. Himalayan Heliski will definitely deliver.
