The lodge is a collection of 14 cozy A-frame cabins, which includes a private bar, lounge and games room.

The Skeena Mountains feature the entire gambit terrain choices for serious skiers & riders. If you're not serious about your heliskiing, we're not sure why you would choose a private package. If it's your desire, you can begin at the top...high in the alpine from 8,000-foot glacial peaks. Who could resist a view like this? However, you don't need to get up 8,000 feet to enjoy the best parts of Northern Escape's terrain.

Northern Escape Heli operates across the Skeena and Kitimat Mountain Ranges, midway between Central BC and Alaska. Its northern latitude and proximity to Pacific storms deliver the deep powder that established the reputation of Northern British Columbia.

Get ready to explore! Northern Escape's heli-ski tenure covers approximately 3,373 square kilometers—or 833,571 acres—with more than 300 established runs across at least nine heli-skiing zones.

The different zones provide options for changing weather and group preferences. Fjordland is known for its massive glacier skiing, Wild West for big alpine runs, South Shore for tree skiing and Promised Land for steep trees and pillows.

With notable runs like "El Castaro Grande," Northern Escape's longest runs descend more than 6,000 vertical feet from the alpine, down through the old growth forest - our favorite - TREE SKIING!

And with the Catland Zone, "23 square kilometers (5,769 acres) of subalpine tree-skiing terrain—an area larger than the entire skiable footprint of Vail," it's extremely unlikely that you'll experience a down day during your private week. NEH's cat skiing operation is second to none in the heliskiing industry. When the birds can't fly, Northern Escape has four (4) cats to keep their skiers happy making deep powder laps!

The Northern Escape Heliskiing Skeena Spey River Wilderness & Lodge features the Private Package, carefully designed to meet the needs of you and four other skiers. You’ll be flying a small Koala helicopter, allowing you to reach areas that larger groups cannot. Additionally, you’ll be appointed a concierge service to walk you through the entire booking process.

The Skeena Spey package is designed for private groups of up to five skiers or riders, and its biggest advantage is the amount of control that gives you over the trip.

Northern Escape includes a private Koala or Bell 407 helicopter, two private heli-ski guides, private accommodations, a dedicated culinary team, massage therapists, private snowcat backup and Unlimited Vertical.

The Bell 407 is particularly well suited to a five-person private program, while Northern Escape rather appropriately refers to it as the "flying Ferrari."

More important than the helicopter model, though, is what having the machine to yourselves allows you to do.
