I believe that I have the same passion as you do about heliskiing…been doing it a bit longer than you though..first trip was back in 1976/1977…it is worse than a drug addiction….did about 50 trips with CMH and it took me a while to figure out that I screwed up royally…big bird..large groups..etc etc..groups speed is that of the slowest skier…I think that I'm a wee bit older than you..I do like the finer things in life..NE Heliskiing takes the cake..better food..better accommodations…smallergroups..faster choppers…there's a reason they have been voted best 4 Yrs in a row…Alaska is a big gamble…Mother Nature always wins… pretty pictures though…all blue bird days.. what happens the days that its cloudy and it snows…a company that has cat-skiing as a backup is a real plus to consider…ease of getting there is also a big consideration…being able to have dinner at the heli location that I've chosen on the day that I left home is pretty hard to beat…TTFN
